So, now that you had that time away from the drudgery of the day, lets re-engage with vigor and a plan!
You don’t have to plan for the year in January. You can do long-term planning at any point throughout the year. But if you haven’t already prepared your long-term plans for 2017, you might as well take this opportunity to zoom your focus out and consider your intentions on a bigger level.
Hopefully, you have already reviewed 2016. Drawing on your reflections of the past year will help you prepare to make the most out of 2017. Here are three journaling prompts I used to help me set my intentions for 2017:
What do you want less of in 2017?
What do you want more of in 2017?
What would make 2017 a breakthrough year?
Don’t set new years resolutions, set goals! Be intentional and purposeful with this transition time. Resolutions are like a bouquet of flowers, they’ll eventually wither and go away. Long-term goals are powerful. One well crafted long-term goal can have a positive domino effect on your life.
