We’re Giving Books Away to Libraries, Want One?
Updated: Mar 2
Last year we announced a campaign to promote entrepreneurship and literacy with the release of A Misfit Entrepreneur’s Guide to Building a Business Your Way. The goal was to donate 100 copies of the book to libraries in Northern Colorado and beyond…like any entrepreneurial endeavor, it has become that and more.
We have 76 copies sponsored and ready to go to libraries. And we have begun distributing them, as you can see on this handy google map! But we need your help…
Do you have a Little Free Library in your neighborhood? Are you a librarian at a public or high school library? Do you maintain a community library?
You can request a copy of A Misfit Entrepreneur’s Guide to Building a Business Your Way FREE of charge. You may either coordinate pickup of the copy at our office in downtown Fort Collins, CO or we can ship it to you (we do ask you to cover shipping and handling costs, which is $7.50 for priority mail).
Once you get the copy, we ask that you take a picture of the book as you put it into circulation and promote the book on social media using the hashtag #MisfitEntrepreneur…what we’ve found so far is that the books we distribute to libraries don’t stay there long before someone snags them up to read.
To request a copy, simply fill out the form here (please note, supplies are limited and requests will be granted on a first come first serve basis).
Buy and Copy a Donate Yourself
Want to purchase a copy and donate it yourself? That works too. Follow the directions on this link and your copy will count towards our goal + we will add the library to our awesome map!
I alluded to the fact that our campaign has become about more than just donating 100 copies of A Misfit Entrepreneur’s Guide…and I will share more about that plus make a final call for sponsors to support these efforts next. For now I will leave you with this, you’re awesome!
